We invite you to come and discover the Corsican Maquis through the eyes of wild food expert Roushanna Gray who will be joining us from South-Africa on this delicious, exclusive retreat. There are many similarities vegetation wise between the Corsican “Maquis” and the Western Capes “Fynbos” which makes this the perfect combination. Connect back to nature through intuitive plant study, food creation, grounding yoga practices, nature inspired art, mindful foraging and outdoor meditation. With a sensory theme woven throughout each day, the retreat schedules flow of events promises to be gentle, engaging, educational and delicious with a sprinkling of adventure.

10h A “Taste your Walk” nature exploration and flower foraging / with umbrellas if it is raining

About Roushanna

Founder of Veld and Sea, Roushanna Gray is a wild food innovator and avid forager. She teaches adults and children about wild edible foods through immersive experiences, connection and creativity. Inspired by the local edible indigenous plant availability, she has been experimenting with the exciting flavours and diversity of wild plants for over ten years. The wide range of  delicious and nutritious culinary offerings from the beautiful inter-tidal rock pools along the coastline also play a major role in her cooking classes and workshops. Yoga 

Julie Sauli is our soft out house Yoga teacher for this retreat that will be dropping to teach her trademark Yin-Yang Yoga. This is a combination of a deep and meditative practice (Yin) and fluid and dynamic sequences (Yang). Her classes focuses both on working with deep tissues to promote flexibility and the free flow of energy in the body, as well as synchronizing breathing and movement to strengthen muscles, develop concentration and to move the body with control. Yin Yang Yoga is the perfect balance between Yin Yoga and Vinyasa Yoga that brings you softness, serenity and vitality. The dimension of Vinyasa Yoga gives free rein to her creativity as a teacher and the practice will  be done to music.

Starting Rate 990 €  – per person for a shared double bed or single bed in a shared room

1500 € – for a double bed in a private room (alone)

1800 € – for a couple in a private room 

This unique retreat will take place in a charming private villa, in the South of the Island close to Porto-Vecchio (Figari airport). Rates are all inclusive (excluding flights) and airport transfers from Figari/airport or the Port of Porto-Vecchio are also included.
