Cape Town, ranked one of the most beautiful cities in the world is a dream destination for foreigners and locals.I had the pleasure of teaching a class in Tamboerskloof and Bantry Bay. This strip of Cape Town’s coastline is truly magnificent. With walks along Lionshead right on your doorstep, Camps bay and Clifton beaches a short drive away and the ever popular Sea point promenade for evening strolls, what more could you want?
Never mind unique locations for morning and evening Yoga practice, Cape Town has some of the finest restaurants to choose from. Whether you feel like a relaxed sundowner at Bungalows in Clifton or something a little more fancy in Camps Bays, you are never short on options.
Cape Tonians are health conscious by nature, there always seem to be an abundance of people taking advantage of the outdoor space and beauty. Be it walking, running, cycling or working out at the park gym facilities, there is plenty on the go. Like Corsica there is a range of flora and fauna, coastlines or mountain ranges to explore. Not too mention plenty wine estates not far from the city bowl worth exploring. A short weekend, a little taster so to speak, made me realise this truly is a destination for Lara and I to co host another Yoga and Wellbeing retreat together in 2017.
